Reports To: 

Managing Director – you’ll be one of our first permanent hires, so we are looking for someone excited to grow with the business!

Job Summary:

We help build hospitality brands that make people smile. Taking control of our client’s branding, content creation, social media management, website design and email marketing. You’ll be working with a number of independent hospitality businesses, helping drive customers through their door.

To begin with you’ll learn to craft post captions that capture attention and drive action. You’ll work with us to develop and implement ‘engagement strategies’, so our client’s businesses are active within online communities. Finally, you’ll build relationships with influencers to increase client’s organic reach and curate a library of content.

In the near future you could be working on photography, photo editing, videography, podcast producing, website design, graphic design, growth hacking and even more! The opportunities for growth are endless and training will always be there to help you progress down the career path of your choice.

You’ll be studying a Level 3 Digital Content Creation Apprenticeship at a local college. They’ll be plenty of additional learning opportunities in-house as well, if you’d like to increase your skillset.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Copywriting of post captions on social media pages.
  • Copywriting of longer-form written content.
  • Working with our photographer to capture stunning images.
  • Photo-editing to make content more effective on social.
  • Develop and implement engagement strategies.
  • Interacting with customers in the comment section.
  • Responding to general enquires on social media pages.

The right candidate will be be keen on taking on new responsibilities as they develop more skills and the business evolves.

Qualifications

  • 5x GCSEs at grades A-C (or equivalent), including GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent) or above.
  • You’ll have a keen interest in Business, Marketing, Media and/or Social Media.
  • You’ll have Insatiable desire to learn more and grow in the role.
  • You’ll be interested in learning or have experience in the Adobe Creative suite.
  • You’ll be relatively organised and be confident in communicating with the public and influencers.
  • You’ll be eligible for a L3 Apprenticeship.

You’ll be responsible for running our own internal YouTube channel! This means recording video, editing content, writing the video descriptions, creating the thumbnails and coming up with new video ideas. You’ll also ‘re-purpose’ this content to be social-ready.

You’ll also take the reins in planning, shooting and editing, client interview-style videos. Plus, producing and editing client video-podcasts.

In the future you’ll be shooting more ‘film-style’ content, taking advantage of the enhanced technical and story telling skills you have developed.

You’ll be studying a Level 3 Digital Content Producer Apprenticeship at a local college. They’ll be plenty of additional learning opportunities in-house as well, if you’d like to increase your skillset.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • You’ll be responsible for recording, editing and posting our business vlog to YouTube.
  • You’ll be recording interview style videos with clients, shooting b-roll and editing these videos in Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
  • You’ll be responsible for re-purposing our video content into ‘micro-content’ for social media.
  • You’ll be monitoring and editing client and internal podcast videos and repurposing it into micro-videos for social media.
  • You’ll be developing eye-catching and on brand video thumbnails using Photoshop or equivalent.

The right candidate will be be keen on taking on new responsibilities as they develop more skills and the business evolves.

Qualifications

  • 5x GCSEs at grades A-C (or equivalent), including GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent) or above.
  • You have experimented with cameras or created video before.
  • You’ll be interested in learning or have experience in the Adobe Creative suite.
  • You’ll have a keen interest in Business, Marketing, Media and/or Social Media.
  • You’ll have an insatiable desire to learn more and grow in the role.
  • You’ll be eligible for a L3 Apprenticeship.
